One Buddhist
One Sect

Conceptual Design / Narrative 

The project explores how religion like Buddhism influenced the way student housing where designed to accommodate a diverse routines of monks. From Mahachulalongkorn, to the spread of a syncretic religion “Zenjravarna”. Due to its diversity between routines and practice of each Buddhism sections, the project proposes that Buddhism should be universal, it is unfair that they have different code of conduct at the end their aim is to reach enlightenment but in a different way. The barge that visually developed from the concept of eclectic, by merging of different cultures and invents a new society for monks.

Architectural Design 

The emergence of new technology has taken much role in today’s world, which moves in parallel with the E-Waste. As soon as new technologies are updated these hardware turns into waste. We are all looking forward to the future but not taking a step back nor revisiting what we leave behind the physical world. Where these things are valuable could transform into space. The project approach to utilise e-waste is to design a multifunctional e-waste factory + exploration center, making the usual unusual in incorporating the innovative design of e-waste and new spatial design for recycling process by exploring different types of propoertise from e-waste into construction.

Happiness

Art Installation Design 

Museo-Happiness explores the concept of happiness through museum spaces believes that happy architecture should be a healing space from all the accumlations of negativity and evokes user’s feeling inner happiness not through a happy moment in time but through the experience of self-reflection. Questioning what if we could fill in the blind spots of our minds to experience the state of pleasure through space? How could we do that where it is our brains who operates everything? How we could be control? To understand and find the answer to how? Is to know the connection with our mind.

Quarantine Cities:
The Continuous Journey

Conceptual Design  

Covid-19 marks a drastic change to the future of travelling, introducing a new experience of being on quarantine after transporting across borders. The project approaches this new normal as a civic architecture for the instrumentalization of mental and emotional conditions as a consequence of the essential solitary quarantine during pandemic society offering a possibility of the post-travelling experience.

The False Future

Conceptual Design / Narrative Film / Animations

“The False Future”, is a cautionary tale accelerating the increasing dominance of large tech corporations and online media in our daily activities. Set 250 years after Etienne-Louis Boullée’s Temple to Nature and Reason, celebrating Newton’s scientific discoveries and the sublime of the natural world, the project is a speculative architectural proposal for a temple to data, information, and knowledge that celebrates a new rendition of the sublime:  

 

“The great technological sublime.”
